Laurie Basham Laurie Basham is our featured artist for the month of July!! Laurie will be doing a floral demonstration using pan pastels and both hard and soft pastels. In this demonstration, artist Laurie Basham will show us a mixed media technique using an ink underpainting on Lux Archival sanded paper as a foundation for pastel. The ink will establish the value structure and composition, creating a strong base that will guide the application of rich, expressive pastel layers.
