Base fee:
  • Pastel 101 will present information on pastels, surfaces and techniques to bring artists new to pastels up to speed quickly. We will experiment with pastel methods in a positive and relaxed atmosphere.

    Bring some reference photos and lots of questions! Other recommended items to bring are: an apron, baby wipes, a drawing board or piece of foam core board, a sketch pad and soft pencil. If you already have pastels, bring those as well.
