Biography
Diana has been an accomplished, fulltime, professional artist for over forty years. A nationally known award-winning artist focusing on a wide range of realistic subject matters, and recognized for her breathtaking sky movements, nautical detailing to her series of nostaglia pastels. She works in many mediums, but as as a multi-media artist, she feels working in soft pastels is her most expressive.

With 22 National and 7 International exhibits with pastel societies throughout the US, she has earned Signature Status with the Pastel Society of America (PSA), Pastel Society of NC (PSNC), and the Southeastern Pastel Society (SPS), Diana has earned 14 First Place Awards and 37 Awards from 2nd Place to Honorable Mention for her pastels.

A Pittsburgh, PA Business College Graduate, she focuses on her art fulltime with predominately being self-taught. She follows many acclaimed master pastelist with workshops and demos to continue with her love of art and inviting new techniques into pastels. Her work can be found in private and corporate permanent art collections, exclusively, Duke Health Raleigh, Wells Fargo Corporate Offices, and numerous doctor and lawyer offices in North Carolina.

A Signature Member of PSA, PSNC, and SPS, she also is an Associate Member of the WPSE, Appalachian Pastel Society, Central Massachusetts Pastel Society, Fine Arts League of Cary, Carteret County Arts, and is the founding member of the Cary Gallery of Artists. Diana's work can be found at Mattie King Davis Gallery, Beaufort, NC, FALC venues, and the Cary Gallery of Artists.
