Biography
Angela Harker was born and grew up in the beautiful farmlands of Zimbabwe.She has always dabbled in the Arts an for many years was a serious potter. She and her family have moved all over the world and eventually settled in Charlotte NC in 2007. It was then that she discovered her passion for pastels.
She is an active board member of the Piedmont Pastel Society and has exhibited in local shows. In 2011 she had her first successful “one artist” exhibition in upstate NewYork. Her paintings have found their way into many homes both here in North Carolina, and elsewhere in America and internationally in Canada, England and SouthAfrica. She mostly paints landscapes and seascapes but also loves painting rural scenes including farms, barns and animals.
